Some 750 yards away, the Cambridge Gardens (CAM) properties are just 2 minutes from Ladbroke Grove tube station (Hammersmith & City Line). The position close to the motorway flyover might be inclined to put some off but the double glazing cuts out 95% of the noise.
The apartments, in two neighbouring houses, are smaller with an average size of approximately 650 sq ft (60 sq m). They are decorated and furnished in a similar manner as Elgin Crescent, the two main differences are that where a 5th person can be accommodated it is either on a put-me-up bed or on a sofa-bed, and the kitchen has no dishwasher. These apartments are un-serviced, though if you stay for more than 7 days the linen is changed at the end of a week.

Notting Hill is an interesting and vibrant area. The travel bookshop on nearby Blenheim Crescent is the shop where Hugh Grant's character works in the hit film Notting Hill.
Both ELG and CAM are just a few minutes walk from Portobello Road and its famous Saturday market. Close by is an excellent selection of pubs, restaurants and cafés. Try 192 in Kensington Park Road - of Bridget Jones's Diary fame or the excellent Italian restaurant Osteria Basilico.

Please note that we market these properties on behalf of their owner whose procedures and arrangements differ slightly from ours. We normally arrange for an airport pick-up - costs vary, typically £40-£65 depending on which airport and how many people - and the driver has the keys and lets you in (rather than being met by a company rep). Each apartment has a set of notes covering the neighbourhood shops, local transport, pubs, restaurants and cafés. There is no "starter pack" of breakfast goodies - however there are "24/7" shops very close by. You do still have access to the Coach House London Vacation Rentals telephone help line to provide you with answers to questions about London - what to do and see, should you need advice.
