The kitchen table can seat up to 8 people (at a pinch). Next to the kitchen there is a guest loo which has been decorated with classic stripy wallpaper, several framed pieces of art and an attractive marble-topped sink area.

Further along the hallway is the "family room" / TV room (12.8 ft x 10.5ft, 3.9m x 3.2m) which has been eclectically decorated and makes a cosy den. There's an ethnic feel to the room which lends itself to the warm brown walls and mixture of comfortable furniture. The best part of this room is the large domed skylight which lets the light fill the room and adds an interesting element to the space.

The room contains a TV (with freeview channels) with DVD player, two seater sofa, three chairs, several bean bags and a table.

Broadband wireless internet is available throughout.

Next along the hallway is a French door that opens out onto a small courtyard / light well (access from either the grount floor bedroom, hallway or den) with a table, two chairs and a pretty lion water fountain – a perfect spot for eating your breakfast in the morning.

The winding staircase, displaying various artwork and pretty lit alcoves with classical sculptures, leads to the unusual 'U' shaped drawing room. Guests looking for something a little different yet with a homely and traditional feel will love this unique room, as it also has access to a fantastic roof terrace from two sets of French doors.

Typically English in style, the room offers a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the muted stripy walls and assortment of seating options including a two seater sofa, three sofa chairs and several traditional style chairs. Each of the three large windows brings plenty of light into the room and there's a pretty oval window to the left of the room as you enter.

The décor is traditional English with a touch of countryside – floral curtains, pretty plants and flowers and bronze-framed artwork blend to combine an authentic looking space. There's also a wonderful stone fireplace with a working coal-effect fire and several desks with chairs. Those wishing to listen to music can use the iPod dock or stereo. Guests will also find a computer (with printer) and a television in the left-hand side of the room. The roof terrace provides a nice area where you can relax in the sunshine – with a table and five chairs it could also be an ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining or an evening aperitif under the stars.

Another flight of stairs leads to the top floor with two double and one single bedroom and two bathrooms. The first bedroom (9ft x 9ft, 2.75m x 2.75m) has two skylights that bathe the room in daylight. There is a single bed, mirror, chest of drawers, chair, lamp and fitted wardrobes.
