This small comfortable house is in Pimlico - a pleasant residential area between Victoria and the River Thames. Victoria (main line station and tube: Victoria, District and Circle lines) and Sloane Square (tube: District and Circle lines) are both about a 10 minute walk, as is lovely Battersea Park - just across Chelsea Bridge on the south side of the river.

The accomodation, spread over 3 floors, has a quality Italian finish - hard-wood flooring and marbled bathrooms. It sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms, one of which uses a comfortable sofa-bed. There are two bathrooms.

The front door opens onto the combined living and dining area (18ft4 x 9ft4, 5.6m x 2.85m) furnished with a comfortable 2/3 seater sofa, a dining table and 4 chairs, bookshelf, side lights, a TV (digital channels) + DVD player and modest stereo system.

The house has wifi broadband internet access.

The galley kitchen has all the expected appliances including a microwave and dishwasher.

Stairs lead down to the main bedroom (14ft9 x 10ft10, 4.5m x 3.3m) with 5ft wide double bed and its own en-suite marble clad bathroom - bath with hand-shower, basin, bidet and loo. Downstairs there's also a utility area with a washer/dryer.

Stairs from the living area also lead up to the second bedroom (10ft8 x 9ft6, 3.25m x 2.9m) with a sofa that converts to a comfortable 4ft6 wide double bed, there's also table and chair - suitable as a small work area. This room also has its own bathroom - bath with hand and over shower, basin and loo.

The flat is within 5 minutes walk of several convenience stores, pharmacies and an excellent supermarket. There's a good variety of pubs, cafés and restaurants close by. Try Oliveto in Elizabeth Street or, a block away and slightly more expensive, its sister restaurant Olivo. At Gran Paradiso on Wilton Road you might well spot an MP dining before returning to the House of Commons to vote. Near by there's also La Poule au Pot, claimed by some to be one of London's most romantic restaurants!
