For those looking for somewhere in the heart of London the location of this property is outstanding. Situated literally minutes from Hyde Park and with easy access to the main attractions, you are well placed to see what this great city has to offer.

The house is located in a quiet mews a few minutes walk from Lancaster Gate and Marble Arch tube stations – the only noise you may hear is the occasional trot of horses hooves as riders take their horses through the mews on the way to Hyde Park!

The property sleeps 4 people in 2 double bedrooms, there are two bathrooms. Wifi broadband internet access is provided. Please note: the property has not been refurbished for some time and some may feel it is a bit old fashioned, even a little shabby. However many people have stayed here and not been concerned.

The front door opens onto a small hallway which has a second door leading to the spacious open-plan living area (30ft x 15ft9, 9m x 4.8m) - here guests will find a homely space with artwork on the walls, 2 two-seater sofas, attractive marble fireplace with real fire, decorative mirror, TV with sky channels, DVD player, stereo (bring your own CDs) and a good-sized dining table with six chairs. From the living area there are French doors leading to a small outdoor area complete with a quirky jockey figurine who lives outside!

The next room is the kitchen which has all the expected appliances including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob, grill and kettle. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the utility room next to the kitchen which leads to the garage where guests can keep their car - please advise requirement when booking.

Stairs from the living area lead up to the first floor. The first room encountered is a bathroom which has a tiled floor, separate shower, bath, basin and loo.

The next room is the master bedroom (16ft6 x 12ft6, 5m x 3.8m) which overlooks the mews below and has plenty of light. There is a king size bed (5ft x 6ft6) two fitted wardrobes, chair, TV with sky channels and a bedside table with lamp. This bedroom has its own large en-suite bathroom with a bath with over-shower and water jets, mirrored wall, basin and loo.

The second bedroom (11ft11 x 11ft9, 3.6m x 3.4m) provides a standard double bed (4.6 ft x 6.3ft) and two bedside tables with lamps and comfortably sleeps two.

Finally, there is a separate dressing room with plenty of space for guests to store their clothing. The room offers numreous fitted wardrobes and a set of drawers.

The house is literally minutes away from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens – a beautiful place to visit any time of year. There are several tube stations are within easy walking distance, Oxford Street, one of London's principal shopping streets, and more up-market Bond Street with its abundance of high street, designer and antique shops are just a short walk away.

Marylebone and Bayswater are equidistant from the property (approx 15 mins on foot) – both offering a wealth of restaurants, bars and traditional pubs, as well as more shopping options.
