On the 2nd floor (there are good lifts) of a 1930s built, quality portered block, this comfortable flat makes a very good base for a London stay. It's conveniently positioned a 5 minute walk from the buzz of Earl's Court (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines - tube direct from Heathrow) and just a few minutes further from the sophistication of Kensington High Street (tube - District and Circle lines). Although Pembroke Road carries quite a lot of traffic, the flow is diverted at night. During the day, what little noise may percolate up is blocked by the double glazing.


The flat is has recently been redecorated and refurbished in a sophisticated contemporary style with comfortable furniture and modern appliances. There's quality wood flooring throughout. The owners live mainly in Greece so it's often available for our guests.

The Hallway

Two double bedrooms and a triple (double bed + single bed) sharing 2 bathrooms (one of which is en-suite) accommodate 7 people comfortably.

The Living Room

The front door opens onto a sizable hallway with lots of space for coats, umbrella, shoes etc. This gives straight onto the living area and a corridor off which run the three bedrooms. The walls of the living area and corridor are covered with a dramatic dark red wallpaper, patterned with a gold motif.

The combined living and dining area (20ft6 x 11ft6, 6.2m x 3.5m) has a two 3 seater sofas and a 2 seater sofa round a leather Ottoman, side tables with lamps and a TV+VCR. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, 7 at a squeeze. There's also a small desk where the telephone lives and a high-speed broadband internet connection will be found.

Off the living area is the kitchen - stainless steel appliances, granite worktop and tiling, wooden floor and all the expected appliances including dishwasher, microwave, washing macine and dryer.


The master bedroom (14ft6 x 12ft3, 4.4m x 3.7m) has a whopping 6ft bed, built-in cupboards, a TV and an en-suite bathroom (marble tiles throughout) with power-shower, basin, bidet and loo.

The two good-sized other bedrooms each have 4ft6 double beds and in one there's a single bed too. They share another bathroom (marble tiles throughout) with bath + over and hand showers, basin , bidet and loo.

Two additional features of this apartment are the porter (concierge) on duty from 8.00am to 9.00pm, so available to accept any deliveries (no need to cart your Harrods shopping home, have it delivered!), and the attractive private gardens - great for the kids to have a run around.

The flat is well positioned close to the convenience shops of Earl's Court and its cheerful pubs and restaurants favoured by the young but also within easy striking distance of sophisticated Kensington High Street with many excellent shops and restaurants.
