This flat, on the south side of The Thames right beside Blackfriars Bridge, is in an excellent position. For sight seeing it's just a short walk from The Globe Theatre and Tate Modern in one direction and from The South Bank Centre (Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and National Theatre) and The London Eye in the other. Your nearest tube stations are Southwark (Jubilee line) and Blackfriars (District and Circle lines), both within an easy 10 minute walk. With the City just across Blackfriars Bridge, this apartment is also ideal for a short business trip.

This part of the south bank of The Thames has been totally transformed over the last few years into a well landscaped, attractive and vibrant area. The accommodation comes with it's own parking place in a secure underground garage, and also has high-speed broadband internet access.

The flat is on the 7th floor (good lifts) of a 1970s built block. Its south facing aspect combined with large rooms give it a light and airy feel and good views south over London, and it's far enough from the road that very little traffic noise is heard. It sleeps 3 people, 2 in the double bedroom and a third on a put-me-up bed which can be set up in the living area. There's one bathroom.

The entrance door opens onto a hallway/corridor off which are the rooms. The living room (24ft x 12ft6, 7.35m x 3.8m) is simply furnished with a two seater sofa, a recliner, coffee table and bookshelf.

There's a TV+DVD player (digital channels) and modest radio/stereo - bring your own CDs.

At the end of the room furthest from window is a glass dining table and 4 dining chairs.

The practical kitchen has all the expected appliances including a microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bathroom has an excellent shower, basin and loo (there's no bath).

The bedroom (14ft x 9ft10, 4.25m x 3m) has a 4ft6 wide double bed and lots of storage space in good built-in cupboards.

Across the corridor from the entrance door of the apartment is a door onto a small balcony with stunning views over Blackfriars Bridge, the City and St Paul's Cathedral. In the flat there are some directors chairs and a small portable table for you to use while enjoying this view over a quiet drink.

This is a No Smoking property.

View from the balcony (across the corridor from the entrance door of the apartment).
