Many who live in SW1 firmly declare that they would never dream of living elsewhere! The area includes smart Belgravia, trendy Pimlico and stately Westminster - the seat of Government. This sunny 2nd floor (no lift), two bedroom flat is in the heart of Pimlico - no more than 10 minutes walk from Victoria , a major travel hub with train, tube and bus stations, very convenient for journeys around London and trips out of town. Buckingham Palace and Green Park are just a 15 minute walk and there's a good variety of pubs, cafés and restaurants close by.

The property sleeps four in one double and one twin room, there are two bathrooms. It has a warm, sunny feel and many features in the house seem to be influenced by the English countryside and the sea.

The living/dining area (15ft x 14ft4, 4.6m x 4.4m) is a bright and sunny room with cream carpets, yellow walls and seaside-inspired paintings displayed on the wall. The room features an eclectic mix of furniture: contemporary glass desk, 3-seater sofa, two chairs, wooden coffee table, dark wooden cabinet and in-built bookshelves surrounding the traditional wooden fireplace.

There is a large flat-screen TV with digital channels and a CD player and radio. Wireless internet is available throughout.

The room has been opened up to include a separate dining area with a large glass-topped table that can seat up to eight.

Next to the dining area there is a fully-equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, electric oven with gas hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. This room has a large window providing the kitchen and dining area with lots of light.

The master bedroom (14ft6 x 14ft6, 4.4m x 4.4m) features a king-size bed (6ft6 x 5ft) with beach-inspired bedding, the English country style curtains and framed landscapes on the walls add plenty of character to the room whilst making it feel very homely. There is a trouser press, fitted wardrobe, two bedside tables with lamps and a dressing table with a large mirror.

Next along the hallway is a separate bathroom with a loo, basin and bath with shower.

Across the hallway the second bedroom (9ft3 x 8ft8, 2.86m x 2.7m). This is normally a single bedroom but it can be made into a twin bedroom if the trundle bed is used. It has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and loo. There is also a fitted wardrobe.

There are some excellent restaurants close by. Try Oliveto in Elizabeth Street or, a block away and slightly more expensive, its sister restaurant Olivo. At Gran Paradiso on Wilton Road you might well spot an MP dining before returning to the House of Commons to vote.

This is a No Smoking property.
